ORIGINS DRINK UP INTENSIVE OVERNIGHT MASK

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask  |  £23.00  |  John Lewis

"This intense moisture replacement mask with Avocado Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil deeply and instantly quenches compromised moisture reserves and builds a reservoir for tomorrow. Japanese Seaweed repairs skin's barrier to prevent future dehydration and signs of premature ageing."

For my first ever origins purchase, I had to pick up one of their cult products, the Drink Up mask. This stuff is like a good nights sleep in a tube. It's known as the 'lazy mask' in the blogsphere as you basically wear it as a moisturiser, keep it on overnight and by morning, you wake up with super hydrated, plumped skin.
The mask is an intense moisturising mask and for me, it feels like a high quality skincare product. It has a thick, creamy, gel-like texture and smells fruity (a little like peaches). It contains the skins most loving ingredient, hyaluronic acid which strengthens the skins outer barrier as well as leaving the skin feeling smooth and soft.

A little goes a long way, I used a pea size amount and rub it all over my face and any excess on my neck. After using the mask for about 5-6 months now and in that time, the appearance of my skin had improved so much. The mask does a fabulous job of moisturising my dry patches.
PROS
- not messy to use at all
- easy to use
- wake up with plump skin

CONS
- strongly fragranced (some may not like it)
- a bit too moisturising for those with oily skin
