Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

My friend spotted this whilst we were shopping in John Lewis for my go-to cleanser, Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (review here). We were on a lookout for a natural, dewy looking base and this caught our eye. We were quite intrigued because it wasn’t a foundation nor was it a tinted moisturiser.

So what is this skin tint?

Liz Earle describes the skin tint as ‘the perfect way to enhance your skin. [The] rich, creamy formula leaves skin looking naturally dewy, even and radiant’.

It is available in 4 shades; bare, beige, beach and deep bisque. I went for the deep bisque as the beach seemed a bit more on the ‘pinky undertone’ side. This gave me a lovely dewy, flawless finish with a medium coverage. Its lightweight texture was easy to apply using my fingers and looked very natural. It brightened and evened up my skin tone without the feeling of a heavy foundation.

As you know, Liz Earle is famous for her naturally active skincare range. So what’s a Liz Earle product without its fabulous benefits for the skin. The skin tint contains;

SPF 15: prevent sun damage  

Avocado oil: softens and hydrates skin 

Zinc: treats irritations such as acne, eczema and rashes 

Borage oil: softens skin 

Vitamin E: protects and repairs skin

With all of its amazing benefits as well as the gorgeous glowing look it gives, the affordable high end product only retails at £21. A little goes a long way so this should last me a long time and it’s great for all year round.
