Okay ladies and gents! This isn't what you think it is. I was casually shopping in Lush and came upon this weird, weed-looking cleanser for the face and body. Its in a solid form and green in colour (obviously). After 4 weeks of using this product, I can definitely say its left my face feeling refreshed and shine/oil-free.

"Nettles, rosemary and rice bran vinegar work to cleanse the skin, removing dirt and grease, leaving bright and beautifully clean skin. Chamomile blue oil and rose absolute are used for balancing skin tone"
I have been using the Lush Herbalism cleanser as a mild exfoliator, twice a day. It's not a makeup removing cleanser, but it does an amazing job of gently scrubbing away dead skin and fading away my acne/blemish scars.
It has the same concept as Lush Angels on Bare Skin (review here). I take a pea sized amount into my palm and mix into a paste with a little water. I then massage the paste into my face avoiding the sensitive eye area. I do this for 2-3 minutes and rinse with warm water. Like all cleansers and exfoliators, its important to splash cold water at the end to close your pores.
Like all Lush products, even this has its own skin benefits;
sweet almond: has moisturising qualities and promotes blood circulation
glycerin: improves appearance of the skin
nettle: improves skin irritation
vinegar: soothes and tones skin
rosemary: balances and restores damaged skin
rice bran: rich in vitamins and nutrients
sage oil: antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties
It also contains the amazing kaolin clay which works wonders on blemish prone and sensitive skin. Kaolin purifies and nourishes all skin types and eliminates the unwanted dirt on the top layer of the skin. It also repairs damaged skin hence why it is perfect for blemish/acne prone skin.
