It's always important to have a strict skincare regime as well as skin-loving products for the body. I don't think it's always necessary to spend lots of money to have good skin. The products I will be mentioning is great for people who are new to skincare regimes or want to learn about products they've not used.

Botanics All Bright Cleansing Cream | £3.99
"This creamy cleanser sweeps away make up, oil and impurities without drying, leaving the skin soft and brighter looking."
Although I love love love my holy grail Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (review here), I sometimes reach for the Botanics All Bright Cleansing Cream on the days I am wearing minimal makeup or no makeup at all. The cleansing cream does a great job of removing light makeup, leaving it feeling soft and moisturised. It contains Hibiscus which is great for controlling acne breakouts and encouraging fresher and younger looking skin.
Botanics All Bright Soothing Eye Makeup Remover | £3.99
"The clear oil phase effectively sweeps away impurities and make up, including waterproof formulations. The aqueous phase is given its colour by hibiscus, and helps to soothe the eye area and condition lashes."
I have never really noticed the brightness effect to this eye makeup remover. However, it does the job of removing all traces of makeup (including waterproof). Retailing at only £3.99, there's no complaining from me.

Since my acne breakout, I've always been on the hunt for an affordable, effective face wash that wouldn't break me out. This has a lovely creamy texture which feels so good on the skin. I saw improvement in my skin within a few days of using this amazing face wash consistently. This is great for sensitive and breakout-prone skin.

St Ives Blemish Fighting Facial Scrub | £4.29
"Only St Ives captures the secrets of naturally beautiful and healthy looking skin in this deep cleansing formula that gently exfoliates, removing oil, dirt and dull skin cells that can lead to blackheads and blemishes."
When I first started using this I thought it was quite aggressive on my skin. However, after a couple months of constant use I've realised although there are so many grains in this product, it didn't have a bad affect on my skin at all. Instead, it has done a perfect job of exfoliating every last bit of dead skin on the top layer leaving it feeling soft and smooth.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash and Mask | £3.79
"Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash and Mask is a unique cleanser that can be used in two different ways to help keep skin looking clear and healthy."
I reach for this product once a week and use it as a mask before bed. I leave it on for 8-10 minutes and as it dries I feel a cooling sensation on my skin. The mask gets deep into the skin, cleansing away excess oil, dirt and makeup- it works great on those nasty spots that hurt because it will encourage it to dry out faster. My face definitely feels softer and smoother after every application.

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water | £4.25/£7.95
"Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots."
My obsession with Lush products is forever growing! I've had this toner for a while and have been using it every morning and night before bed. It feels super refreshing and during the summer months when my skin is combination/oily, it does a great job of controlling the excess oils. I usually spray it directly onto my face and then rub it in or spray onto a cotton pad and wipe onto my face. Great for blemish prone skin!

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion | £5.49
"This unique formula is clinically proven to go beyond 24 hour moisturisation and replenish the skin's natural barrier function, to significantly improve the condition of dry skin in just 2 weeks.
Since the cold winter has hit us, my usual oily/combo skin has become dry in certain areas of my face. The lotion is a lovely, thick barrier to protect the skin from the cold and keep it moisturised for the whole day. It's also a great base for foundation as it absorbs really quickly leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. It can also be used on the body.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver | £15.00
"This instant radiance-booster refreshes and smoothes skin and enhances its natural glow."
This stuff is amazing!! It has a citrus scent and I use this either as a primer (after moisturising, before foundation) or as a night time moisturiser- either way this silky serum makes my skin feel ahhh-mazing! It is a bit on the pricey side but a little goes a long way, I only need a pea size to cover my face. It can also be used on its own, it is very lightweight and although it's a matte finish, it leaves a lovely glow.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel | £3.75/£7.50/£11.95
"Add some Christmas sparkle to your day with this candy-sweet shower gel. Snow Fairy is back again this year, bringing its fairy dust magic into your shower, now with the addition of skin-softening seaweed."
Every year, Lush release the Snow Fairy shower gel as part of their christmas limited edition range. It does have a sickly sweet bubblegum scent to it but the more I smell it, the more I want to use it- weird much? The shower gel leaves my skin feeling soft, refreshed and the scent even lingers on my skin for a few hours. A great reason to look forward to christmas with Lush!
