You can never have enough brushes! I always say when a set has been washed and left to dry, it's always good to have spares to use in the meantime. I've been wanted the sculpting set for a while and when I saw it on sale in Superdrugs for only £13.99 I definitely had to purchase it.
The set has been dedicated for contouring- accentuating features and enhancing the bone structure on our face. But of course, brushes are for multi-purpose use and can be used for whatever you prefer.
PACKAGING
All the brushes have the iconic Real Techniques rubber ends with a bright coloured ferrules. The only difference to these brushes have a brighter pink chrome finish than the usual ones.
Sculpting Brush
a wide, angled head specifically designed to help create defined contours
This brush is super densely packed with bristles making it perfect to blend in cream contours and liquid/cream foundations. This brush is very similar to the RT Buffing Brush in terms of application and blending in products but in an angled shape. The angled shape makes it perfect for contouring the sides of the nose, underneath the cheekbones and the perimetres of the face.

Fan Brush
softly sweeps on powders & whisks away any excess makeup for an even finish
An exclusive cut brush in the Real Techniques Range. There aren't many fan brushes easily available in the drugstores here in the UK and a fan brush was exactly what RT were lacking. The brush is quite sparse and light making it great for applying the lightest touch of highlighter on the upper cheekbones, down the nose, cupids bow and chin.
This brush is only available in this set.
Setting Brush
the key to completing any look with a controlled dusting of powder or highlighter
This has to be my favourite RT brush out of all the ones I own. I already have a couple in my collection which I use for setting my under-eye area and sometimes apply highlighter with. It's also great for blending out concealer in targeted areas.

A new setting brush beside one I have been using for a year. As you can see, after several washes, it doesn't lose its shape.

Just like every other RT brush I own, the quality as well as it's price of this set is amazing. After a couple of washes, it still has not shredded nor has it lost its shape. They all still work as well as they did from when I first used them. Whether you're a beginner or a pro and looking for some sculpting brushes, I'd definitely recommend these.
