May Favourites 2015

Tweezerman Gear Slant Tweezers  |  £20.95  |  Boots
I like to tweeze my brows myself and once in a blue moon, I get them professionally done. These have such a sharp, precise point it even manages to grip the smallest hair. I also use this to apply my lashes- a great multi-use product.

Mac Velvet Teddy Lipstick  |  £15.50
Mac Soar Lip Pencil  |  £12.50
I have been LOVING this lip liner and lipstick combo this month. I always get questioned on what lipstick I'm wearing. This is the perfect nude-y pink colour, perfect for every day wear and goes with nearly every look I do.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Moisturising Photo Edition Foundation  |  £35  |  spaceNK
Everyone needs to own this foundation, I'm telling you! The coverage, the finish, the look is absolutely amazing. I have already reviewed this (click here). An oil-free version is also available for those with oily skin.

Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Camel  |  £17.50  |  John Lewis
On a cold, rainy day after work I headed down to John Lewis to pick this shade up after seeing it on Instagram the night before. It was so gorg I didn't even need to swatch it. The texture of the shadow is super creamy and easy to blend out (even with fingers). I love using this as a transition shade!

La Splash Lip Couture in Ghoulish  |  $11.98 / £7.75  |  lasplash website
This colour has been allllll over Instagram and apparently a dupe for the infamous Limecrime Cashmere. When swatched, it looks like a grey-toned purple but when applied on the lips it looks completely different. I love wearing this with Mac Soar underneath. It dries very quickly to a 100% matte finish, but not the dry type- you can barely feel it on the lips. A full review for this and other colours will be up soon.

Jessup Tapered Face Brush  |  £11.62 (set)  |  eBay
This brush is extremely soft and feels lovely against my cheek. I use this to apply and blend in my bronzer and it does that job very well. It did shred during it's first and second wash but since then there has been no more shredding. I have reviewed this brush along with the whole set (click here).

Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease Brush  |  £49 (set)  |  Zoeva Website
I use this brush to apply the Bobbi Brown Camel eyeshadow onto my crease as a transition colour. It's slightly pointed and fits in well into the crease as well as blend the colours seamlessly. I have reviewed this brush along with the whole set (click here).

Rimmel Match Perfect Fix & Perfect Pro Primer  |  £6.99  |  Superdrugs
This has to be the best drugstore primer I have ever used. I am on my second bottle and I have the beauty Amelia Liana to thank for that. She mentioned this primer in one of her 'drugstore week' videos and her review won me over straight away. The primer does a fabulous job of smoothing my skin for my foundation application and encouraging the longevity of it.

Kiko Lasting Gel Liner  |  £8.90  |  Kiko
Last but not least, I don't wear eyeliner everyday but this month when I have done I reached for this (recommended by MUA Mohima Farchu click here). It's super creamy, easy to apply but a hell to take off! That isn't necessarily a bad thing at least throughout the day it doesn't budge. You definitely need more than just a normal cleanser and micellar water. I use an oil based makeup remover to take this off.
