EBAY FINDS #5 JESSUP PRO BRUSH KIT VOLUME II

"A BUDGET FRIENDLY BRUSH SET"
Jessup brushes have been a favourite of mine since using their first pro set which I have reviewed here (click here). The brand is based in Indonesia and have become quite popular in the blogosphere where they are known as the 'eBay brushes'. Their original kabuki style brush sets were quite popular too, but I found them all way too dense.

With an even better upgrade, here you have Volume II of the pro brush set which includes 12 brushes in total. They are super soft, fluffy and feel great on the skin. However, like the first set, even this had a distinctive smell that wasn't so pleasant. So before my first use, I washed them twice. For more information on how I wash my brushes (click here).
The set comes with five face brushes and seven eye brushes. All the brushes come with brush guards which you can put on your brushes after they've been washed so they hold their shape. Each brush is numbered unlike the first set where they have actual names. I don't necessarily use a brush for what it's meant for. For example, I like using some of the eye brushes for applying powder contours or to apply my cheek highlight.

*PROS
- a whooping 12 brushes for a small price tag
- brushes are soft and easy to blend in products with
- they can stand up on your dresser

*CONS
- the smell
- some slight shedding on the bigger brushes
- can take up to two - three weeks to arrive
THE COLOUR RANGE
- Black and gold (I have this set)
- Black and silver
Volume II of the Jessup Pro brushes resemble Tom Ford's Deluxe brushes which cost £650 a set (includes 12 brushes). So with the Jessup set you are saving yourself SO much. I'd definitely recommend these brushes to beginners as well as those who have been in love with makeup for a while.
