Lottie London are a makeup brand which sell very bright, Tumblr-isque products ranging from brushes, nail polishes, eyeshadow palettes and much more. One of the new additions to their brand are the liquid lipsticks. The Lottie London Slay All Day Liquid Lipsticks have been advertised all over the Blogosphere and were released earlier this month.
There are a total of 8 different liquid lipsticks in the range and only 4 of them are available as lip kits which consists of the liquid lipstick and a lip pencil. I picked up all 4 of the lip kits a couple of weeks ago which are all nudes and browns.
The liquid lipsticks come with a doe-foot applicator, as do most liquid lipsticks to allow easy application. After swatching the lip kits several times, I noticed the lip liner shade was different to the liquid lipsticks. I wouldn't really see this as a con as you get two different gorgeous shades in one lip kit but do keep this in mind before purchasing.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
As you can tell from the swatches above the lip liner is a tad different to the liquid lipstick. The lip liners appear to be extremely creamy, a bit like retractable lip liners but in pencil form. They are pigmented and glides on smoothly. In terms of longevity, texture, finish and the packaging, the liquid lipsticks remind me a lot like the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. They feel really comfortable on the lips, dry matte (but not drying) and are nicely pigmented. I found that only one coat was needed with majority of the shades however, the darkest shade, hey bae, it was a tad bit patchy so I had to go over it (no biggie). I liquid lipsticks did last a good 5-6 hours before wearing away on the inner part of my lips after lunch and a couple of Costa lattes. The nudes are perfect for those with medium to dark complexions as well as those with lighter complexions. The only downside is the scent, it smells a little like paint but not too overpowering. If you can get over that then you will lovvve these!
