The highlighters are known to have light reflecting particles to give your skin a natural, healthy glow. I totally agree with this statement, I've been alternating the shades throughout the past few weeks and it's giving me such a gorgeous, sun-kissed glow.
THE PACKAGING
Lets take a moment to appreciate the gorgeousness of the entire packaging as well as the rich-looking embossment. The highlighter itself definitely looks luxurious, a little Estee Lauder-esque and costs way less than it looks. Embossed makeup products are definitely my favourite type!
THE SHADES
01 AFTERGLOW
02 DAYGLOW
03 SUNGLOW
04 GLOWING
The shades look a little similar in the pan but after swatching them, you can tell they all have different undertones. There are a total of seven shades which consists of browns, golds and pinks so there's definitely a shade to match every complexion. The three shades I don't have are:
05 SUNSET GLOW
06 MOON GLOW
07 SUMMER GLOW
THE TEXTURE/PIGMENTATION
Although the product itself looks super expensive, there's definitely something about it that'll make you think it isn't very pigmented. But I was wrong, with one swatch, it has such amazing colour payoff. The swatches above are all single swatches so I didn't need to go over it to intensify the colour. It gives a gorgeous metallic sheen across my cheekbones but of course, if you love uber highlight, then do use a spray to intensify the colour further.
The actual highlight is soft in texture, it isn't powdery and doesn't have any fallout - YAY! I totally hate products that have fallout, it wastes SO much product. There isn't any glitters in the actual product either. It lasted on my skin for a good 7-8 hours, generally how long I have my makeup on anyway. And I did spritz some Pixi Glow Mist a couple of times throughout the day for a little pick me up. I love applying my highlight with one of my current favourite brushes from eBay which you can purchase HERE.
